Our Facility
The Pet Boarding area is directly connected to Dunes Animal Hospital so that boarding pets can be watched closely by our professionally trained staff and veterinarians. The large runs are over 32 square feet with glass front doors in a climate-controlled environment. There is a primary divider between runs and a bed/cot is provided for all pets. There are 200 square foot individual outdoor exercise areas for bathroom breaks and playtime.
For our feline guests, we offer Kitty Condos which are located in our front lobby. These condos have multiple levels and even a private level for when they don't feel like being social. Your cat will be able to see outside and have a little more interaction during the day, which the cats seem to enjoy.
Wellness Requirements
To protect the health of all of our guests, we do require that all pets be current on vaccinations. They must have the DHPP Vaccine (Parvo/Distemper) annually, the Bordatella Vaccine (Kennel Cough), and the Rabies Vaccine every 2 years. Proof of vaccine history must be shown at the time of check-in.
What to Bring
All guests are provided with a pet cot/bed, blankets, food, and water. If you would like to bring your pet's own bed, toys, or food, you are welcome to do so. We find it helpful if your pet's belongings are marked with your pet's name.
Medicine
If your pet is currently taking medications or a vitamin or nutritional supplement, they will be given according to the instructions you leave at check-in. Please let us know if your pet has any allergies.
Check In/Check Out Times
Pets can be checked into or out of boarding during our regular business hours from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday or from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday. We also allow guests to check out on Sunday afternoon from 5:00 pm to 5:15 pm. You will be charged for Sunday as if they were staying the night. Guests checking out on Sunday must prepay at check-in time.
